EP Edition starring Robyn Dell’Unto

I contacted Robyn Dell’Unto a few weeks ago and told her; “Listen here, chick. I’m going to feature you on The Vinyl Experience in a special EP edition. And you’re going to come on the show for an interview. And you’re going to play a live song. And you’re going to toss a few CDs our way to give away to our listeners! And I won’t have you giving me a hard time ‘bout any of it.”

I was almost able to finish that with a straight-face. Almost.

Truth be told, I did contact Robyn and asked her if I could feature her music, simply because I think the music is brilliant, and I absolutely fall in love with her voice every time I hear it.

Robyn, being the ever-gracious Canadian girl, agreed. We sat down to chat (some of us while wearing pants) for what felt like the blink of an eye. Time spent chatting with Robyn is like time spent with an old friend, shooting the breeze casually, without pretension.

And despite a sniffly nose, she still did serenaded me at the end… pantsless.

The things I do for my listeners.

Robyn also sent me some unreleased songs to play on the podcast, including; “Come Home“, “Last to Love You“, “Yer Old Girl” and “Good Day” which she wrote with Matt Montour.

Enjoy the episode and don’t forget about the CD giveaway. All you have to do is send an email to thevinylexperience(at)gmail(dot)com and in the subject line, put “Robyn Dell’Unto CD Giveaway“. I will be mailing out two copies of “I’m Here Every Night” to a couple lucky listeners.

If you enjoyed the show, please leave a comment here or on iTunes.
