Switch viewBastion OST
This original soundtrack is for an indie game recently released entitled “Bastion“. The music is so absolutely phenomenal that I was driven to share it on the podcast.
Karmin – Inside Out
I had the pleasure of interviewing Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan of Karmin recently, and found them to be as awesome as their videos make them seem to be. This makes listening to their music even more enjoyable.
Robyn Dell’Unto – I’m Here Every Night
I love all of the artists whom I’ve played on The Vinyl Experience, however as they are not my children, I’m well within my rights to have favorites… and Robyn Dell’Unto is one of them.
Hemmingbirds – Death Wave
The Chicago-based Hemmingbirds’ latest album, “Death Wave”, can best be described as a fusion of new age, pop, folk and indie, with a little rock tossed in for good measure.
Kelley McRae – Highrises in Brooklyn
Kelley McRae, with this second album, continues to prove that there is more to her than just a stunning voice, but that she is also an incredibly talented songwriter.
Carl Hauck – Windjammer
Windjammer is without a doubt the most beautiful and intelligent album Carl Hauck has ever recorded.
Mutts – We Float
We Float, the second EP from Mutts, is also available for free from the band’s website (the MP3s, a CD will cost you five dollars).
Mutts – Pretty Pictures
You may recognize Mike Maimone as the lead singer of Mutts. I played Mike on the 5th episode of The Vinyl Experience, and if you thought he was somewhat wild as a solo act, you simply must hear him as part of Mutts.
Andy Mac – 410
At the release part for ‘Struggle Fantastic‘, Andy Mac sprung a surprise on his fans by announcing that he’d recently recorded an entire other CD in his grandmother’s house prior to the having to sell the home after she had passed.
Maneli Jamal – The Ziur Movement
Maneli Jamal’s CD ‘TheZiur Movement‘ is a phenomenal piece worthy of its place in any music collection.
